Life is Never Boring

This family is really being put through the wringer lately. My sister is still in the hospital, now with a new infection. Her dialysis that they started has been okay. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Yesterday, K was hit in the nose with a softball pitched by one of her friends. I don't think I've ever seen so much blood. Miraculously, after a trip to the ER and an x-ray, we learn it was only bruised. What a relief! The things that happen to this girl are mind boggling. She's not a cut or scrape kind of gal. It's always something unusual that just absolutely grosses you out. LOL

I am dealing with some vertigo. I just know my sinuses are the culprit. Went to the doctor and was told I have a lot of wax in my ears. Really? I wouldn't have known by all the wax that's been coming out. Dur! He says this might be causing the problems. So he prescribes a motion sickness pill for me. Guess what? It's not working. If I'm correct, there is no magic pill for vertigo. But an antihistamine seems to be the medication of choice. I'm really only bothered by it in the morning when I get up and at night when I lay down. I have to wait it out until my body adjusts to being in that position. Not fun! Definitely have to keep my eyes open during that time so I won't feel like my heads spinning off. LOL

Looking forward to the long weekend. Will be going to a picnic at one of our church friends houses. Looking forward to it. We always have a good time there.
